医学模型写生 | Studies of Medical Models

人类医学模型在特定场景中往往带有一丝荒诞：它们拟态的表情、可随意拆卸更换的部件，以及批量生产所造就的高度一致性，不免让人联想到其所模拟的人类特征——没有思维，任由某种意志支配而浑然不觉。医学模型的销售广告简直就是这种特性的绝妙注脚：“大厂产品、优良品质、经久耐用、更换方便” 。艺术家的这个系列组画就是对该模型的超现实写生。

Medical models of human body often carry a touch of absurdity in certain settings—their mimetic faces, parts designed to be dismantled and exchanged at will, and the eerie uniformity of mass production all point to the human qualities they imitate: mindless, surrendered to another's will, yet wholly unaware. The sales advertisement for these models serves as a succinct annotation of this quality: “Big brand, superior quality, long-lasting, easy swapping”. This series of paintings by the artist is a surreal study of the medical model.
