Invisible Cities
The marvelous dialogues between Kublai Khan and Marco Polo depicted by Calvino became the point of departure for the artist’s creation, forming a subtle connection with the traditional cultural landscapes buried in memory. Everything that exists now or once existed may be but an illusion.
The linear expression enhances the continuity of pictorial writing, as the artist seeks to embody both the stillness of time and the inner surge of life within the construction of a virtual space.
